High Quality Scanning & Video Transfer

Many companies offer scanning but few provide high resolution scans of 1200 DPI or greater. Higher quality scans allow creation of much better “videos” and are critical when repairing and restoring old photographs.

We offer the same services with most video. We can convert most formats including 8 & 16mm, super 8 and VHS to DVD. Ask about our timeline process to reduce costly editing.

Once we have a high resolution scan of your picture we can go to work. Since these scans provide us with many more “pixels” we can improve the look of your old photos. The high resolution scan of your pictures create a safe copy for priceless photos, the quality of scanning makes the difference in the finished product, regardless if it is for duplication of the photo, adding the photo to a still collage, or to a video collage.

Many hesitate to convert their old video to DVD since there is usually a large amount of editing required to remove unwanted scenes. By utilizing timelines, we can make editing these videos easier and much less costly. We can adjust the brightness, colors, contrast, etc., which in many cases can greatly improve the quality. Photo Repair/ Restoration/ Enhancement

We use different techniques to add color, sharpen blurred images, lighten or darken all or some areas of a photo, fix sections of pictures that are torn or damaged. Regardless of what is in the picture they are one of a kind and usually hold sentimental value. Since they can never be re-taken this is really the only way to “save” them.

• Add these restored/repaired photos to video collages or still collages
• Photographic overlays and merging of 2 or more pictures including replacing specific people or objects, very useful with oversized pictures.
• Remove objects and replace them with new ones, to see “what it would look like if…”. This process can be helpful with many different projects both in and outdoors. Replace a tree or remove it completely or change the color of your house or a room.
